Sometimes we need a good laugh

Ahhh, time to relax and post a new story on my BLOG. Let’s see, the phone is off the hook so I won’t be interrupted, my glass of wine is nicely chilled, I’m comfortable and there’s a great story running around in my head. Time to get started. Oh oh, there’s a problem with my site, apparently Blogger is releasing another round of fixes. Well let’s see what’s wrong.

Hmmmm, my template is totally out of whack. I don’t remember adding that widget, gadget, whatever. Ok let’s sign in and see if I can fix this. Hopefully it shouldn’t be a problem. First go to dashboard, then settings, layout…OK wait, I’m getting confused, let’s start all over again. Now I see the problem I just have to delete the unwanted gadget. There, problem solved, but wait, what happened to my 'Followers?' Not that anyone was really reading these postings, but it looked nice.

Ok let’s start all over again. Dashboard, layout…well you know the drill. Fine, ‘Followers’ is back again but now I have myself as a follower. That’s not right, alright one more time. Hey what happened??? Who the hell are these people? I don’t recognize any of them, and where are the people I know? Time to go to the forum and see if anyone else is having this problem.

Ah yes, I’m not alone, now I know what to do, wait a minute, didn’t I just say that 15 minutes ago? Time for another glass of wine. Now my profile is screwed up, what happened to my picture? Let’s see, go to ‘start’, ‘my pictures’, etc, etc, etc. That’s better, but now I like my new photo better than the old one. I wonder if I can change the pic on all my comments?

Why did I do that???  Now Blogger has something that looks like hieroglyphics on my screen. That’s it !!! ... I’m losing it, this was supposed to help me relax, not make me want to throw my monitor out the window.

So to make a long story short, if you make a mistake on your BLOG you can’t use White Out to correct it...

...and I’ll be damned if I can remember what I wanted to write about in the first place.
